Infected Mushroom Tattoos

Insomniac's Awakening went down on Saturday night to a sold out house at The Palladium. The festivities included a live performance from Infected Mushroom with guest Matisyahu, ATB, the Lu-cent Dossier dancers and much, much more. Check out more photos. There was a string of remixes available and I chose to purchase the Litex Remix from Beat port since it stripped the song down to its basics. Just the right amount of layering so I could really enjoy the beat. For the reaction, I started getting images of steam-punk angels.

In the Air Nothing but Love One Swedish House Mafia The Temper Trap Sweet Disposition Axwell and Dirty South Remix Adrian Lux Teenage Drime Axwell Remix Leave the World Behind It’s True. Do we have to say anything at all? The man we booked for the biggest night of the year Thanksgiving Eve is coming back to DC nightlife for round 2, You can find pictures from the last event here. 2011 has seen a flurry of new releases and remixes on his Axtone label. And of course something new with Dirty South is in the pipeline.

Markus Schulz Tattoos

Schulz has worked with such artists as: Depeche Mode, Madonna, Jewel, Gabriel & Dresden, Fat Boy Slim, Miro and PQM. His remixes of Intuition and Stand by Jewel both hit 1 on the Billboard club chart. First up was one of my favorite cities to play in the US, with another stop at The Forum nightclub in Charlotte. Once I was done, Irish supremo John O’Callaghan took to the decks to finish the night off. I really enjoy hanging out with the Medellin people so I went down from the booth to the floor and stayed there taking pictures and chatting to dancing with the fans for well over an hour.

Paul Van Dyk playing at Gossip the night before the Olympics and he rocked the house down there wasn’t a moment where I wasn’t bobbing my head. A genuine character, even took the time to meet fan and take photos with them after the show. I’ll be honest I m not a fan of Spike’s Video Game Awards. To me its like the video game equivalent to the MTV Movie Awards or hell Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards. Not that those are bad things, but as far as I know, Spike’s VGA is the only televised video game awards show. Deadmau5 was just one of the many superstar DJ producers to perform at one of the FREE Hard X Mouth Taped Shut events this month. He is way too into Mine craft. He just got an arm tattoo of the Creeper face seen above on hat. Sometimes Things Get, Whatever. That was around the time things got… well, fucking awesome.

New music from David Guetta and Miguel equal just what you need to remind you the week is done and the weekend is just beginning. Many of your are either out or heading out to get the Friday night off to a great start. Well because I'm such a nice guy I'm going to give some tunes that will get your fist pumping on the way to the club. This bloke is so naff it's unbelievable but he apparently is the pinnacle of modern so called dance music. The turgid monotonous tripe that this fellah churns out is the death of all that's creative about music. David Guetta with Chris Willis on vocals has supplied us with the first perfect badass summer song of the season, Love is Gone.Presumably it is played so loud to youngsters so off their faces that artistic merit is not required.
